The Bug Lady’s Night Hike
Want a great nightcap? Try nature’s special blend: lots of spineless wonders, a splash of mammals, and a mellowing shot of jungle ambiance in a tall rainforest tumbler, and you’ve got the basic ingredients for a perfect ending to your delicious stay in Drake Bay. This two and a half hour night tour takes place after dinner (usually from 7:30 to 10) behind the Lodge in the primary forest along the Agujitas River. The Bug Lady, Tracy Stice, offers night vision optics and rubber boots. Expect to see colonies of leaf cutter ants, spiders, and adorned moths.
